The 35 ppm Xerox WorkCentre 3550 monochrome MFP was introduced in North America in July 2010. Designed for the small or medium office, the 3550’s standard functions included print, copy scan and fax.
The 3550 ships with a standard 5,000 page yield cartridge, with replacement cartridges available in 11,000 page high yield and 5,000 page standard yields. The standard cartridge can easily be converted for use as a high yield cartridge when filled with the correct toner load and the correct replacement chip is installed.
Cartridges are similar to those used in the Samsung ML-3051 family printers and are interchangeable between OEMs without modification, other than having the proper chip installed. All cartridges require a chip for correct printer operation.
